Hi, my name is Sherry Mitchell,

By the grace of God, I am His beloved daughter and Jesus’ sister and friend. The past 24 years, I have been doing life with my husband and four children. We live in the foothills of East Tennessee where I came to college, but I grew up surrounded by the mountains of Virginia.  I majored in psychology and have a business administration concentration.  I enjoy being with family, friends, and being in nature.  I love to study God’s word and to pass on fun nuggets of truth to others.  My heart is to help people.  For the past 24 years I have helped my family, which includes my four children and granddaughter, as the Family Life Coordinator for Mitchell Incorporated (a thriving and busy business!). I believe life coaching is also an avenue for me to help others move forward when relationships are really, really hard.

My Commitment To You

As your coach, I am committed to:

  • Your Goals. You set the agenda and goals. I will listen carefully, ask purposeful questions, and partner with you to explore the possibilities.

  • Providing Encouragement. I will listen, affirm, and encourage you as you work to MOVE FORWARD from where you are to where you want to be.

  • Holding You Accountable. I will hold you accountable to the changes you decide to make.

  • Fostering Your Growth. I will challenge you to think about the possibilities, to work around obstacles and to step out in faith.

  • Complete Confidentiality. Our coaching relationship and all our conversations are strictly confidential unless you choose to share that information.

You will never maximize your potential in any area without coaching. It is impossible…To be the best next-generation leader you can be, you must enlist the help of others. Self-evaluation is helpful, but evaluation from someone else is essential. You need a leadership coach. A good coach will evaluate your performance against your potential. A coach will know what you are capable of and will push you to your limit…I can go further and faster with someone coaching me than I can on my own.
